Computational Intelligence (CI) paradigms have become a critical factor in the resurgence of Artificial Intelligence which is now part of daily life. Therefore, basic and applied CI research have substantially grown, and more spaces for discussion on these topics are required.
This workshop aims to put together researchers, practitioners, students, and those interested in presenting novel findings and applications related to computational intelligence techniques. The workshop also looks to be a means to establish possible collaborations among the attendants.
Interested authors are invited to submit original papers, including novel CI research and findings. The topics include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Machine Learning
- Data Mining
- Statistical Learning

Submission details
Papers must be written in English using LNCS Springer style, at most 12 pages, and sent in PDF format via Microsoft CMT.

Publication
Accepted papers will be included for oral presentation at the workshop and included in the proceedings.
The proceedings will be published with Springer in a LNCS-LNAI number.
Authors should consult Springer’s Instructions for Authors of Proceedings and use either the LaTeX or the Word templates provided on the authors’ page for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a License-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made. If you or any of the authors contributing to MICAI 2023 Workshops are interested in Open Access or Open Choice, please refer to our webpage Open Access Publishing in Springer Computer Proceedings for prices and additional information. We would need the invoicing address and the CC-BY licence-to-publish agreement at least three weeks before the deadline for the files.
Additional Features and Services
Springer’s proceedings LaTeX templates are available in Overleaf and you may like to draw the authors’ attention to this fact via the conference website.
Please feel free to take a look at what is new in proceedings publishing, for example concerning proceedings publication and access in times of COVID-19 or regarding data publishing at Springer. If you might be interested in data publishing, please contact us as soon as possible (roughly three months before the camera-ready deadline communicated to the authors, if possible).
Roughly one month after publication, all authors who have included their email addresses in the headers of their papers will receive an email containing a coded personal access link, which will enable them to download the PDF of their paper directly from SpringerLink.
Extended versions of selected papers will be invited to a special issue of the journal Mathematical and Computational Applications, JCR, Q2, IF: 1.9.
Important Dates extended
